Sooo. Lifes. I has one it seems. It's actually hard to write about, because there's nothing really to write about. Overall, everything is peachy. My classes are going fine, living situation is great, even my thesis is going well enough. Ummm. 4th ed D&D is fun. And WoD. And WoW. And video games. Mmm, FF8, X, and Xenogears are next on my list. After I fiddle around a bit more with Dynasty Warriors. So yes. My life is a general ball of contentment. I mean. Yeah, the rug will get pulled out from under my feet eventually, but everything passes. Good luck to all the peeps doing NaNo and /hug to the people far away.

Campus is good. Birthday was excellent. Shaw is pleased by my thesis progress. I have a slightly less vague idea about what I'm doing than before.... That counts. Hehe!

Torn about what to do next year. Take a year off and intern or go straight to grad school? I think I'll work as if I'm going to grad school straight away (applications and GRE and what not) and then see how I feel by the middle of next semester.

Classes are going well so far. I've got Advanced Latin, Intermediate Greek, Roman Civilization, Christian Scriptures, and Heroism and the Chinese Narrative. Latin and Roman Civ are as usual. Greek is okay, I think it'll be getting better soonish. I absolutely adore the professor and hope he sticks around like zomg. I find myself actually interested in what's going on in Scriptures, and Professor Marks is so sweet! I like Heroism as well, but some people need to just not talk, what with the whole insulting of the professor's culture. Omg. She seems to be taking it well though. :-/ I feel like I'm barely managing to stay on top of all my work, but at least I'm on top of it.

I haven't been playing WoW much recently, which is sad because I has friends there! Friends! Alas, there is no desire.

Work is going well. I hope I don't have to work anymore night shifts though. Hate them!

I'm slightly addicted to Magic. Like a belf! After getting creamed about 5 times yesterday, I finally won a couple games.

Tried a hookah on Saturday. The tobacco kind, not teh drugz zomg. The rose was tasty, but two times in one day was waaaay too much. I feel ill thinking about it at the moment. Not a good idea to do it right before a wall, cause I needs the air when I'm dancing (flailing!). I vote for the guava flavor this weekend lady. :p

And hey! I went to a wall! It was pretty fun and ended with some Perkins goodness. My legs still hurt a bit from being put to use in such an unfamiliar action. ;D

Ireland looms closer with each passing day! Anyone reading this know a good shuttle/bus/train thing between the Newark, NJ airport and JFK, NY? Trying to figure that out. I need to walk over to the airport here and harass them with questions. Questions!

I've lucked out with having some pretty awesome roommates and living situations. Even first year, I just handled the situations so badly. I wish I had the balls to tell my first roommates sorry. I don't regret it, cause I got to live with Brad and Justin, G305, and Caludia and Anya. As well as take naps in many peoples beds, which probably got annoying after a while, srsly, but is one of my fondest memories. Mmm, bed. So hopefully this year will follow the trend of pretty pimptastic living situations. 1st year = good, 2nd year = awesome, 3rd year = freaking awesome?, and 4th year = unknown. Ye! And hey, Robert can navigate through my Ana webs and I can resist chomping him when he sprays the smelly good stuff on. I can play WoW with Stef all night long. I can steal Kai's bed and beg for latin help. So, high hopes, yes?

Hottest guy ever was our waiter at Fu Wah, which is my favorite chinese restaruant. Like omg. Maria and I reverted back to middle school with the gawking and giggling. My fortune cookie said "Culture and customs of China attract you." Hells yeah, lol. Scribbled a little note, thank god I had a pen on me, and we ran after paying the bill. So silly, but it totally made my night.

I'm actually feeling the desire to be a librarian again. So good. I wanted to, then I didn't really, but I had such a nice plan laid out, and now I want to again. Need to harass the librarians at school for info and such.

Scream singing in Maria's car is a most wonderful activity. We relieve a lot of strees that way. As well as dancing in the car. It gets a bit worrisome when she head bangs while driving, but we haven't died yet. :D My Humps is totally our song. Omg yes. And then Shakira goes on right after and it's pure magic.

My dad let me cut his hair. Brave man. He also made me laugh while doing so. Maybe not so smart of him. :p When I got a little crazy with the scissors he mentioned that it was a work of art. A modern one. That was abstract. Hee!

So this weekend was pretty fantastic. A group of us grabbed sushi and saw Stardust on Friday. It was really good, you should check it out if you get the chance! We managed to escape getting sunburned and dehydrated on Saturday. It was so hot! I know it's Florida, but seriously. For the revolution stage: Lake Medina never showed, Style(s?) of Beyond kinda sucked, The Bled was okay, Saosin was pretty good, and Mindless Self Indulgence was fantastic! They're definitely a band that needs to be seen live to appreciate. While they were on a mosh pit opened up right behind us, where our escape route was, so we scurried sideways. Had a couple bodies thrown my way, but I lived. :D Should have worn something on my feet besides sandals though, lol. On the main stage: Julien - K was kinda forgetable for me, Placebo was good, HIM was kinda eh, Taking Back Sunday was good, and My Chemical Romance was so amazing (of course!). We didn't get to see Linkin Park because they were over 20 minutes late for their performance, due to weather, and all the people on the lawn got kicked out, due to weather. We got tired of waiting and left for some Starbucks goodness, and as we got to the car they started playing. Jerks. Heh. I spent a fair chunk of cash on water (4 bucks a bottle omg!) and some on food. I got another shirt, MCR of course, but not the MCR tour one becuase it was out of stock by the time I got to the front of the merch line. I'll show it to you next Monday, because I get back to Sarasota next Sunday! Woo! Hope your summer has been awesome!

If I was a superhero, or villain, I'd like my code name to be Doomsday Brunette. Or The Doomsday Brunette. Depends on how vain I'm feeling at the moment. I'd probably have lame superpowers. Like making dots appear on a wall. Or being unkillable, but in a lame (yet cool) way. I'd get poisoned and then puke it up. Or have my head chopped off and then need someone to sew it back on to my body. Get burnt to a crisp and then need someone to soak me in water and slather aloe on me. Speaking of books, I've put together a smexy new bookshelf with my daddy. It's not as lust inspiring as my slim PS2, /melt, but it's pretty close. I've got so many books I'll have to double stack some shelves and pray they don't give out.
Dan'o! To lighten my load I'll be bring some comics/manga that I want you to read (I thrust them upon jou! Muahahaha!) X-treme X-Men, some Mars, and E.S. I think you'll like E.S. but I also want you to read Mars so we can discuss how her writing style has changed and plot stuffz. Mars is really sweet romancey (but kinda dark too. Er, very at points) and E.S. is like really cool sci fi. I like the lead chick for E.S. too. ^_^
And why did I think it was a good idea to buy a yearbook for every year of high school? Seriously. Waste of money and space, though I do have my options of which book to place the obituaries in, once people start kicking off.
On a most excellent note, Hobear lent me his mad luck skills for a moment a couple minutes ago. After waiting most of yesterday for Humar the Pride Lord to spawn, so my lovely Alleyne could tame him, I logged on whilst chatting to my dearest Robert on AIM and there he was. Sleeping under the tree I was standing on. A concussive shot and a frost trap later, Alleyne conquered and renamed him! Now she has an awesome tanking pet in Washburne, and a sexy dps pet in Sylar. Glorious. I took a photo with my camera, but it didn't come out so good.
My face feels both greasy with oil and crackly with dryness. Wtf face?
